The village “Vistayi”, or “Bistai”,  is about 35 km away, from the town of Rethymno, and is located at the foothills of Psiloritis Mountain, on a 500 meters altitude. The climbing on Psiloritis is possible, either through the village, or from a rural road, which is asphalt up to some part and then continues to a dirt road. Otherwise, you could follow a mountain path, that begins from the top side of the village and ends at the area so called “Bistayiana Sopata”.
